4 ounces unsalted butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
½ cup IZZE® SPARKLING JUICE – GRAPEFRUIT
6 – 8 slices fresh grapefruit, rind and pith removed
In a heavy, oven-proof skillet (such as cast iron) melt butter over medium heat. Add the dark brown sugar and ½ cup of IZZE® Sparkling Juice – Grapefruit. Simmer for 5 minutes, place one grapefruit slice in the center of the butter mixture, then place the others in a circle around the center. Fill gaps with grapefruit segments if needed.
Pour glaze and slices over your cake of choice.
Yield: glaze for one medium cake
