Bike To Work
Many IZZE-ites are cycling enthusiasts whether for leisure or sport. As such, we support Boulder's "bike to work day" each year by handing out IZZE and biking to work. On any given day, you may see one of us biking to work, riding to our agency partners or heading to the local coffee shop via one of our Electra cruiser bikes. It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise.
Recycling
Today, recycling is everyone's responsibility and we take it seriously. We seek recycled materials in our purchasing: using 10% post-consumer recycled cardboard for our 4-pack container and recycled paper for our point-of-sale signage. Of course, there's more to do and we are investigating options at every turn. We also encourage you to recycle your glass IZZE bottles and cans as well as the 4-pack container.
People Power
People are the backbone to any company's success. Check out this months Performance with Purpose Employee: Michelle Morovitz. At IZZE, we seek to ensure strong career support and growth systems for our people. Also, given we all work hard, we have an infrastructure that supports a bit of play. Many enjoy a competitive ping pong game daily which helps alleviate the stresses of the day and builds team spirit. We're also encouraging a culinary spirit by conducting pot luck lunches each quarter. Let's just say we need to keep working on our culinary skills! ;-)
