Voluptuous Panic: The 18th Annual Watermill Summer Benefit
Water Mill, New York
The Watermill Center will once again bring together the worlds of theater, art, fashion, design, and society for Voluptuous Panic : The 18th Annual Watermill Summer Benefit. Benefit artists and Watermill International Summer Program Participants from over 30 different countries will create six acres of installations and performances throughout the grounds of Watermill during the event. The funds raised will support The Watermill Center’s International Summer Program and Fall / Spring Residency Program, providing a unique environment for young and emerging artists to explore and develop their work.
Beginning at 6pm, the evening will include cocktails, courtesy of Bacardi USA and IZZE Sparkling Juice, a silent auction, performances, art installations, dinner, dancing and a live auction hosted by auctioneer Simon de Pury, Chairman, Phillips de Pury & Company. The evening will end with the guests dancing under the stars in the auction tent. This year’s silent and live auction will include over 75 lots from emerging and established artists including Marina Abramovic, Mary Heilmann, Arturo Herrera, Christian Marclay, Adam McEwen, Malcolm Morley, Olivier Mosset, Robert Lazzarini, Yoko Ono, Neo Rauch, Tim Rollins + K.O.S., David Salle, Kenny Scharf, Andres Serrano, Taryn Simon, Philippe Starck, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, and Robert Wilson, with special lots created in celebration of Robert Wilson’s 70th Birthday.
Voluptuous Panic will be fearless this summer and will inspire the fashion, as it is the dress code for the evening. It will be a true festival of the arts and performance all to benefit Watermill and its mission to provide a unique environment for young and emerging artists to explore new ideas and foster their career development.

IZZE joins the artists of the ‘Big and Little’ Art Show in Brooklyn this weekend!

This Sunday, July 24th, IZZE Sparkling Juice will get in touch with their creative side as they join the budding artists of the ‘Big and Little’ Art Show at the Loft in DUMBO. This wonderful event, which is always a big hit with families, pairs young and old artists together to work on collaborative masterpieces that will then be auctioned off to raise money to keep art programs in NYC public schools. LONG ISLAND CITY, NEW YORK — The Cheesemonger Invitational is the ultimate party for cheese lovers and lovers of cheese. It is an all you can eat affair where Chef Fromager Tia Keenan will dare to create a unique, mind blowing, cheese-based smorgasbord of food unlike anything we have seen or tasted before.
The main event of the evening is Cheese-O-Mania. Some of the best cheese shops in the Milky Way will be endorsing their finest mongers to compete in a no-holds barred cheese battle extravaganza. That’s right, a cheese battle extravaganza. Forty mongers will begin, only one monger can win. Think Fight Club meets the Olympics for CHEESE.
Cheese-O-Mania features 4 rounds of competition: 1) tasting; 2) cutting & wrapping; 3) plating; 4) pairing cheese. The top ten mongers will split a prize purse valued at $10,000. Because we believe in supporting cheesemongers and the cheese shops that promote them, 5% of the event’s profit will be donated to the ACS Fromager Certification Program.
Ultimately, we will be celebrating coddled curd by dancing the night away with a belly fully of cheese, surrounded by lovers of cheese with music provided by deejays whose day job is cheese. It is going to be cheesy. Libations provided by Sixpoint Brewery and of course IZZE Sparkling Juice will be provided for all attendees. MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ATTEND EVENT.
