IZZE heads down south for Art Basel Miami Beach!

Art Basel Miami Beach is one of the most important art shows in the United States, a cultural and social highlight for the Americas. As the sister event of Switzerland’s Art Basel, the most prestigious art show worldwide for the past 41 years, Art Basel Miami Beach combines an international selection of top galleries with an exciting program of special exhibitions, parties and crossover events featuring music, film, architecture and design. Exhibition sites are located in the city’s beautiful Art Deco District, within walking distance of the beach and many hotels. The Fair will take place from December 2 – 5th. GOBBLE GOBBLE…..DRINK IZZE!

Thanksgiving is just a couple days away and we wanted to refresh your memory on how to make IZZE part of this holiday weekend. Here are some suggestions.
• Put a new spin on what you drink with your turkey and pick a sparkling juice, like IZZE Sparkling Blackberry which has sweet and fruity notes. It enhances the taste of the meat and will be enjoyed by all.
• Warm lentils served over salad make a great vegetarian side. Pair this dish with IZZE Sparkling Peach to bring out its intricate flavors.
• Mix up a few signature IZZE cocktails, serve them in smaller glasses and pair them with a few favorite appetizers. Encourage guests to sample the appetizers with each of the drinks to enjoy the flavor to the fullest. Add a special touch to each of the cocktails by adding sugar to the rim of the glass or a garnish of berries. Use fancy silver picks to make the appearance even more special.
• Pair your activity with a beverage. For example, after a long day of football in the crisp cool air, a warm beverage is perfect. Try making hot cocoa with IZZE Sparkling Blackberry to give the coca an intense fruit flavor.

IZZE HANGS AT GREAT CHEFS OF LOS ANGELES!

This past weekend, IZZE was lucky enough to spend our afternoon with our friends at the National Kidney Foundations for their annual Great Chef’s of Los Angeles held at CBS studios. Over 500 guests were in attendance for this amazing and delicious culinary event. Jamie Lauren from TOP CHEF All-STARS was the host of afternoon and even took the time swing by to chat about her love for IZZE! We had an amazing time and are really looking forward to next year already! Here are a couple pics from afternoon.
IZZE joins the crowds to support the runners of the 2010 NYC Marathon

The ING New York City Marathon is renowned for its enthusiastic and extremely plentiful crowds of spectators. Despite the enormousness of the city, the first Sunday of November is always ‘Marathon Sunday’, and 2 million New Yorkers leave their Sunday doings and head out to cheer the runners, listen to the 100 live bands and suck in the energetic atmosphere. The hailing onlookers line the whole course from the start on Staten Island, over Verazano-Narrows Bridge to the sound of Frank Sinatra singing ‘New York, New York’ and into Brooklyn and Queens. Then the route goes over Queensboro Bridge for a roundtrip on Manhattan and a short stop in the Bronx before reaching the finish outside the famous restaurant Tavern on the Green in Central Park. Along the way, runners will witness the cultural diversity of New York’s neighborhoods and pass five more or less famous New York bridges. IZZE Sparkling Juice joined the spectators in Brooklyn where we watched over 40,000 runners race past on 4th Avenue. The crowds were out in massive numbers to show their support and IZZE was happy to share our delicious juices to keep both runners and spectators refreshed throughout the day!
IZZE would like to congratulate Shalane Flanagan of the USA for coming in 2nd place in her first-ever marathon as well as all of the winners and competitors. IZZE would also like to praise their friends at Wearable Collections for sending their teams out to collect the over 35,000 pounds of clothing that were discarded over the marathon route. Those items will be recycled and used again!
